We already have email, chats, forums; why use GUU?

True, all of the above exist. If you feel that sifting through and sorting emails, creating mailinglists, the short-livedness of chats and searching in forums is sufficient for you, fine.

We find that all of the above can work to communicate, but in our own daily work and life we found we missed an elegant combination of the best features. GUU combines the ease of use of chats and the automatic archiving of forums while at the same time preserving the private character of emails in one simple tool.
